Both Brothers are Culinary Institute of America Graduates

Upon entering their business both David & Joseph agreed that first came fresh great tasting food, stylish, contemporary presentation, and personalized friendly service. They also insisted that these attributes were to be reflected through their attentive, knowledgeable, smiling staff who are all highly valued members of David Josephs Catering Company.

These priorities have been combined with hard work, professionalism and flair to help the Boys succeed in building a name synonymous with happy customers and memorable events.

The name David Josephs Catering is owned and operated by brothers David & Joseph.

Both Brothers have been involved in the hospitality industry from a very early age Feeding people and entertaining is in their blood.

After careers in several fine Dining establishments , an opportunity arose for the brothers to open their own catering company Five years into the experience the brothers are thrilled that they decided to take the plunge.

Our team philosophy is to deliver what we promise. Since 1995, we have been doing just that. We only hire staff and work with venues who share our commitment to our clients, as well as our passion for perfection.

We take immense pride in bringing an innovative touch to extraordinary events planning and catering. We have years of experience with event enhancements such as entertainment, floral, photography, transportation, tenting and more. Joseph Farahat
Event Planner & Executive Chef

In 1989 Joseph Farahat graduated from The Culinary Institute of America. Joseph spent the next two years under the tutelage of Four-Star Chefs at the world-famous Greenbrier Hotel and Spa. There Joseph developed his expertise and knowledge and was awarded the very prestigious Medal of Excellence. He then returned to NYC where he continued to develop his craft at such exclusive restaurants and hotels as The Inter-Continental, The Waldorf Astoria, the 21 Club, Arcadia, Le Cirque, Restaurant 44 at the Royalton Hotel. His dedication to the art of cooking propelled Joseph to become one of the most talented chefs in the Metropolitan area today.


David Farahat
Executive Chef

In 1990 David Farahat graduated from The Culinary Institute of America. He then went on to study at New Yorks finest restaurants where he honed his skills under guidance of top Chefs at places like The River Cafe, Restaurant Rafael, La Metairie, Brasserie u Theatre. Le Cygne and The Garden City Hotel. David started as Executive Sous Chef at the Garden City Hotel and quickly rose to become the Executive Chef. His hard work and dedication enabled him to become one of the youngest Executive Chefs of any Four-Star Restaurant in the area.
